Feb 22, 2022 at 6:09 PMHellmann Worldwide Logistics presents a new cost-effective and straightforward solution that facilitates companies worldwide in entering the US market. The new Easy eComm model enables businesses to quickly and efficiently process their customers’ online purchases in the USA without the need for a logistics center or physical presence in the USA.
(Osnabrück/Miami) Easy eComm processes orders virtually and does not require capital investments or the establishment of a local distribution center from customers. The new “Type 86” customs clearance is utilized, allowing the import of goods valued up to 800 USD. This enables manufacturers of clothing and other consumer goods, for example, to leverage Hellmann’s network of warehouses in the USA to quickly and efficiently tap into the US market of over 320 million consumers.
The Easy eComm solution is therefore ideal for online retailers of low-priced goods who want to test the US market without needing to be physically present. The model is based on a three-step approach that allows importers to gradually scale their business up and down. An expert team accompanies the strategic market entry by initially establishing international order processing from the country of origin as well as returns logistics. In the second step, an international returns consolidation center is established. The third and final step focuses on setting up a fully operational US distribution center. The Easy eComm implementation process is designed to activate fulfillment in the US market in just a few weeks, allowing for a response to individual business dynamics.
Effortlessly Reach US Customers
“Our Easy eComm solution enables international companies to effortlessly reach US customers. As part of our full-service offering, we handle the entire process and provide tailored solutions – from consolidating goods in the country of origin to delivering to customers in the USA. By providing our local expertise and infrastructure, we support our customers in successfully implementing and developing their business plans in the US market,” says Patrick Oestreich, Chief Commercial Officer, Hellmann Worldwide Logistics.

We work very closely with our customers to understand where Hellmann can support them as a partner in building a US customer base,” adds Peter Huewel, Regional CEO North America, Hellmann Worldwide Logistics.
