Intralogistics provider STILL launches towing and transport vehicles
Jan 11, 2022 at 5:15 PMRöhlig Logistics and Penske Logistics have established a new joint venture for contract logistics called Rohlig Penske Logistics GmbH, which primarily operates in Germany and the Netherlands. The newly founded company builds on a history of successful collaboration between the two organizations that serve common customers in Europe. The goal of the joint venture is to expand into additional Western European countries.

We see great potential in this joint venture between Röhlig and Penske, which will expand our presence in Europe and provide our customers in the EU with even more flexibility.”
The new joint venture includes 55,000 m² of additional warehousing, transport management, and e-commerce logistics, with plans to accelerate further growth, leverage operational synergies, and improve the service level for potential and shared customers in Europe.
“We have had an excellent collaboration with Röhlig Logistics for many years to serve common customers in the automotive, food, and manufacturing sectors,” said Bill Scroggie, Senior Vice President, International Operations at Penske Logistics. “This new company provides our shared customers with additional scalability, service levels, and offers both companies additional growth opportunities in Europe.”
Transaction Completed on December 31, 2021
The new business unit Röhlig Penske Logistics GmbH will be owned and operated 80% by Röhlig Logistics and 20% by Penske Logistics. This was a private transaction, and financial details were not disclosed. The parties completed the transaction on December 31, 2021. The more than 80 employees of Penske Logistics Europe will remain employees of the Dutch company, which will henceforth be 100% owned by Röhlig Penske Logistics GmbH.
