The contract logistics provider occupies approximately 67,000 sqm of usable space, making it the last large-scale and short-term available logistics property in the Bremen region. After Bremen, Düsseldorf, and Berlin Falkensee, this is the fourth project where Panattoni and BLG Logistics collaborate.
(Hamburg/Verden) Panattoni, the leading project developer for industrial and logistics properties in Europe, announces the full leasing of the Panattoni Park Bremen South in Verden, Lower Saxony, shortly after its completion to BLG Handelslogistik GmbH & Co. KG. The internationally operating seaport and logistics service provider based in Bremen offers services in the fields of automotive, container, port, contract, transport, and transshipment logistics and has more than 100 branches on several continents. The company will use the property to provide logistics services for the food trade. Following projects in Bremen, Düsseldorf, and Berlin Falkensee, this is the fourth project where Panattoni and BLG Logistics are working together.
The new user occupies a total usable area of approximately 67,000 sqm, including about 59,000 sqm of hall space, 3,700 sqm of office space, and nearly 4,000 sqm of mezzanine space. The outdoor areas include 168 car and 28 truck parking spaces. Access is provided via several ramps as well as ground-level gates. In the development, Panattoni achieved the DGNB Gold certification. BLG Logistics moved into its new spaces at the beginning of November this year.
“The occupancy of the Panattoni Park in Verden allows us further growth in a dynamic region with which we are closely connected through our company headquarters. We are pleased to have concluded the lease agreement after collaborative negotiations and look forward to the opportunity to use the new logistics spaces flexibly and easily,” explains Marcus Felten, Manager of Administration & Services at BLG Logistics.
Optimal connection to two highways
With the handover of the logistics park in Verden, the last large-scale and short-term available properties in the economic and logistics region of Bremen have been leased. The location is characterized by its proximity to the headquarters of BLG Logistics in Bremen as well as an excellent north-south and east-west connection via the federal highways A27 and A7.
“The full leasing of the two halls of the Panattoni Park Bremen South is a great success. We welcome the opportunity to provide BLG Logistics with the new spaces as a future user and thank them for yet another excellent collaboration on equal footing,” says Fred-Markus Bohne, Managing Partner at Panattoni.
Brokered by Logivest
Logivest GmbH advised BLG Logistics on the lease. The marketing of the spaces was previously commissioned to the companies Robert C. Spies and BNP Paribas Real Estate.
