Additionally, Panattoni celebrated the topping-out ceremony for the second construction phase with Hall 3.
(Hamburg/Berlin) In addition to the existing users GEFCO Deutschland GmbH and Hive Logistics GmbH, another dynamically growing e-commerce logistics service provider will soon be located at Panattoni Park.
The new user will occupy a total usable area of 7,337 sqm. This includes 6,536 sqm of hall space, 437 sqm of office space, and 364 sqm of mezzanine space, along with 10 parking spaces in the outdoor areas. The clear height is 12 m UKB. In terms of sustainable development, the DGNB Gold Standard has been achieved. Fred-Markus Bohne, Managing Partner at Panattoni, comments on the establishment as follows: “We are pleased to welcome another user to Panattoni Park Berlin South. Particularly, the swift conclusion of the lease agreement is a great success. For the still-growing online trade, the Berlin-Brandenburg location is an attractive region with high potential.”
DGNB Gold Standard Pursued
In addition to achieving full occupancy of the first hall, Panattoni celebrated the topping-out ceremony for the second construction phase with Hall 3 on October 26, 2021. As with the halls in the previous construction phase, Panattoni aims for the DGNB Gold Standard in its development. Representatives from Panattoni and the municipality of Rangsdorf, as well as existing tenants and the general contractor Goldbeck, were invited to the celebrations.
Panattoni Park Berlin South has a total area of approximately 130,000 sqm, distributed across 5 buildings. The property is located in close proximity to the federal road B96 and the southern Berlin motorway ring A10, offering quick access to the federal motorways A2, A9, and A24. The Berlin-Schönefeld Airport can also be reached quickly.
Extensive Nature and Species Protection Measures
As part of the project development, Panattoni implemented extensive infrastructure as well as nature and species protection measures. This includes the extensive renaturation of parks and the redesign of a 3,000 sqm forest. Additionally, larch windows were installed, and a local species of lizard was relocated. Through Panattoni’s involvement in the expansion of the local industrial area, the establishment of various businesses from the region was promoted.
The marketing at the Rangsdorf site is managed by the brokerage firms Jones Lang LaSalle and BNP Paribas Real Estate, with the new user being represented by Robin Schukat from Colliers International Deutschland GmbH.
