Oct 12, 2021 at 8:44 PMBosch Thermotechnology GmbH and Geis Group have agreed on a collaboration in the logistics sector: Starting in 2023, Geis will take over the management of a regional distribution center for the Bosch Thermotechnology brand Buderus. It is currently in planning and will be built next year in Hodenhagen, north of Hanover.
(Wetzlar/Nuremberg/Hodenhagen) More than 60 new jobs will be created on-site. The new logistics property will offer around 26,000 square meters of logistics space, including a mezzanine. Geis is scheduled to begin installing warehouse technology in January 2023 and will start operations with the project in March. The location will serve as one of six regional storage and distribution centers for Buderus across Germany. Complete Logistics Service From Hodenhagen, installers, construction sites, and Buderus transfer points in northern Germany will be supplied with heating technology. The Geis Group will take over the entire warehousing process from goods receipt to storage, inventory management, order picking, and packaging to loading the goods. Additionally, Bosch Thermotechnology will handle returns with a team at the logistics center. The building will also have expansion areas available for the entire project.
