(Gersthofen) Vehicles powered by green hydrogen are environmentally friendly, operate quietly, and impress with a high range. Ideal for sustainable companies looking for emissions-free long-distance goods transport. Quantron AG offers not only fully electric commercial vehicles but also mobility solutions with hydrogen fuel cell systems. Their latest product in this segment is the Q-Light FCEV transporter.
At NUFAM, the leading trade fair for the commercial vehicle industry, QUANTRON is presenting the Q-Light to a professional audience for the first time. As a hydrogen fuel cell transporter in the range of 3.5 to 4.2 tons, it is unique in Europe. The vehicle is offered in collaboration with QUANTRON’s partner and fuel cell expert AE Driven Solutions. It relies on a reliable and proven powertrain technology that is already in use in over 400 vehicles across Europe. All components of the Q-Light FCEV meet European safety standards.
Same Payload as Comparable Diesel Vehicles
The payload of the Q-Light FCEV is comparable to that of a similar diesel vehicle. The refueling time can also be compared to that of a diesel vehicle. The Q-Light FCEV can be operated flexibly in either electric or fuel cell mode. The battery capacity is 37 kWh and, like the 15 kW fuel cell used, has a long service life. The waste heat from the fuel cell can also be used, for example, to heat the interior, allowing for additional electricity savings.
Find Vehicle According to Individual Requirements
QUANTRON supports its customers in finding the ideal vehicle for their individual requirements. With its wide range of configurations, the Q-Light FCEV is flexible for various applications, such as in the logistics sector or as a delivery vehicle. Due to its quiet and emissions-free drive, the transporter can also be used during early morning and nighttime hours. Depending on the needs, the vehicle can be equipped with up to four hydrogen tanks, achieving a range of up to 500 km. In the future, the performance of the fuel cell will also be scalable, allowing the vehicle to be offered in various versions, such as a 7.2-ton variant.
