LHM 800 – a prominent landmark
Liebherr is delivering the largest crane from its harbour mobile crane portfolio to the new Veemnatie terminal. The LHM 800 is the first Liebherr harbour mobile crane of this size in Benelux – an unmistakable landmark in the Port of Antwerp. With its 64-meter boom, it offers maximum reach for all upcoming bulk operations. This investment will significantly improve the handling capacity for Veemnatie and make them even more flexible for their customers. So far, an existing LHM 500 has performed excellently over many years and has broken all handling records, especially in recent months.
Liebherr Mobile Crane Supports Final Assembly
The crane was shipped aboard the heavy-lift vessel Meri from Rostock, Germany, to Antwerp, Belgium. The new machine was transported fully assembled and drove off the ship independently after a three-day sea voyage. A Liebherr mobile crane LTM 1300-6.2 assisted in the installation of the counterweights.
