The international transport and logistics company developed special ideas during the Corona pandemic to further motivate and recognize its essential employees during these challenging times.
(Frankfurt am Main/Lauterach) With the ‘#GWmovesOn – Heroes in Logistics’ campaign, the work of the staff was communicated both internally and externally. For example, Gebrüder Weiss shared 60 individual stories of its employees from over 16 countries on its social media channels. These stories, collected during the pandemic, were additionally published in a special edition of the award-winning customer magazine ATLAS. “With this initiative, we wanted to give our employees the recognition they deserve for their tireless efforts since the beginning of the pandemic,” said Peter Kloiber, a member of the management board at Gebrüder Weiss. “We show that people with different interests, talents, and strengths work here and what they are capable of. It is these employees who stand behind the ‘hero stories’, and we are proud of them,” added Peter Kloiber.
Important Industry Award
The German Brand Award honors strong campaigns, concepts, and strategies for brand management in the categories ‘Excellent Brands’ and ‘Excellence in Brand Strategy and Creation’. This year, there were 1,134 submissions from 17 countries. Among the winners, besides Gebrüder Weiss, were well-known brands such as BMW Motorrad, Knorr-Bremse AG, and Deutsche Telekom.
