Streiff & Helmold Takes Over New Logistics Center in Harbke

The Braunschweig specialist for fulfillment and logistics services, Streiff & Helmold, takes over the former Smyth Toys (formerly Toys ‘R’ Us) central warehouse near Harbke, close to Helmstedt, to meet the rapid development of the company and the increasing demands of modern contract logistics. Additionally, especially during peak times, activities can be consolidated, logistics processes simplified, and subsequently made more sustainable.

(Braunschweig) The new logistics center is strategically located on the important east-west axis (the A2 is four minutes away) near Helmstedt, providing excellent opportunities for logistics services in the Hanover-Braunschweig-Göttingen-Wolfsburg metropolitan region. The entire property covers 68,000 square meters. The logistics areas can be expanded with additional hall sections if needed.

In addition to 18,000 square meters of hall space, the logistics center features 750 square meters of administrative and social areas spread over two levels. The logistics center can be divided into usage sections. The approximately 30,000 pallet spaces are distributed across 15-meter-high high racks and another flat hall with a height of eight meters. Additionally, 62 loading gates provide maximum comfort and advantages for smooth goods handling. Secure loading systems ensure easier and more energy-efficient loading and unloading of industrial goods.

The new location not only offers extensive storage capacities but also enables even more efficient customer-tailored services.
