Jun 1, 2021 at 3:16 PMThe management of press and public relations at BVL is passing into new hands after nearly 15 years. The successor to Ulrike Grünrock-Kern is Christian Stamerjohanns. From now on, he – supported by his deputy Anja Stubbe – will also be the contact person for the media. He reports to the chairman of the board of BVL, Prof. Thomas Wimmer.
(Bremen) A change of leadership in the press and public relations department of BVL. Christian Stamerjohanns was most recently the head of corporate communications at the photo service provider CEWE in Oldenburg. Previously, he held PR leadership positions at ECE Project Management in Hamburg and at the Authority for Economic Affairs and Labor of the Free and Hanseatic City. Stamerjohanns studied political science in Dresden and Wellington/New Zealand and started his career in press and public relations after a management trainee program at the publishing house Gruner + Jahr in Hamburg.
Ulrike Grünrock-Kern, who has led BVL communications since August 2006, will leave the office at her own request at the end of 2021. “We very much regret Ulrike’s decision,” says Thomas Wimmer. “With her ideas and actions, her intuition for topics and people, her clarity of thought, as well as precision in formulation and implementation, she has significantly advanced BVL and, beyond that, communication work in the logistics business sector. The board and management of BVL thank her for her commitment and dedication. And we are very pleased to have gained a great new colleague for our team in Christian Stamerjohanns.”
