DEKRA is Partner for Logistics at the EU Green Week 2021

The internationally active expert organization DEKRA is participating as a partner in the EU Green Week 2021. For three partner events, DEKRA contributes its own sustainability expertise to climate-neutral logistics. Also interesting are sustainability consulting and sustainability in sports together with VfL Wolfsburg.

(Stuttgart) The Green Week 2021 begins on May 31 and this year is dedicated to the theme “Zero Pollution”. The congress and partner events will extend until mid-June and aim to create a platform for collaboration for all stakeholders. The spectrum includes all relevant initiatives of the European “Green Deal”, such as the climate initiative, the chemicals strategy, as well as initiatives in the areas of energy, industry, mobility, agriculture, fisheries, health, and biodiversity.

DEKRA will provide expert knowledge in English during three webinars as part of the EU Green Week:

• Climate-Neutral Logistics – Why organizations need to care about climate-neutral logistics,
  June 9, 2021, time 14:00 – 15:00.
• Sustainable Sports – Long-term reduction of avoidable emissions (together with VfL Wolfsburg),
  June 10, 2021, 14:00 to 15:00.
• Sustainability Consulting for Beginners – Holistic integration of suppliers and customers (together with LIGANOVA)
  June 11, 2021, 14:00 to 15:00.

DEKRA itself is a sustainable company in two ways: DEKRA already ranks among the top 1 percent of sustainable companies in its category with the Platinum rating from EcoVadis. DEKRA will be CO2-neutral by 2025 and is consistently reducing its own ecological footprint.
