With the flinkey Box, delivery personnel can digitally and contactlessly open vehicles at night and deliver shipments before the start of the workday. The flinkey Box is placed in the vehicle and allows for secure opening and closing of the vehicle using the provided smartphone app.
(Unna) Night Star Express and flinkey started the year 2021 with the launch of a successful collaboration. Night Star Express provides express services at night – shipments are picked up from customers in the early evening and delivered to recipients by 8 AM at the latest. Night Star Express primarily delivers shipments to pre-agreed depot locations, but also to service and technician vehicles.
Through the collaboration with flinkey, Night Star Express can now offer this service keylessly. Delivery personnel locate the respective vehicle using the flinkey app and can digitally open, load, and then close it again. The opening is done completely without a physical key via the flinkey Box placed in the vehicle.
The flinkey Box is placed in the vehicle and allows for secure opening and closing of the vehicle using the provided smartphone app. This service even works in underground garages thanks to a Bluetooth connection.
Service Available for All Common Vehicle Models
The use of the flinkey Box is possible for nearly all common vehicle models from the year 2003 onwards. The commissioning works completely without tools or modifications to the vehicle. With multiple encryption of the Bluetooth signal and restricted access permissions, the flinkey system meets the highest security standards.
This new service offers enormous advantages for companies that have company cars or service vehicles. These can be equipped by Night Star Express drivers for the next assignment before the start of the workday – contactlessly and digitally. Delivery directly into the service vehicle at night means a significant time saving: detours to the warehouse or waiting for a delivery are eliminated.
