Apr 19, 2021 at 6:41 PMTrans Global Projects Group (TGP), an international specialist in project logistics headquartered in England, has appointed Andreas Menzel as Managing Director for its German subsidiaries Trans Global Projects GmbH and Natco GmbH. Menzel takes over the leadership with immediate effect.
(Bremen) Menzel is responsible for the strategic and operational management of TGP Germany and Natco Germany. The 35-year-old is prioritizing the growth strategy in the German market. Menzel states: “Despite the COVID-19 pandemic, the German market shows strong economic power and is very exciting for project logistics. Therefore, I am very much looking forward to my new tasks and the goal of expanding our activities in Germany.” In this context, Menzel also oversees important current activities, including global strategic key account management for clients in the power and renewable energy sectors within the TGP Group.
In numerous leadership positions
The trained shipping merchant and project specialist brings over 16 years of practical experience and is familiar with both the shipping business and project forwarding. Menzel has held leadership positions at several leading European shipping and logistics companies, such as Wallenius Wilhelmsen and Deugro Group.Joerg Roehl, CEO Europe at TGP, comments: “With his strong background in project management and his deep understanding of business development in the German market, Andreas is well-equipped to further advance the future of our two German companies.”
Ambitiously expanding European market presence
The inclusion of Andreas Menzel in the German management is another step for the TGP Group to ambitiously expand its European market presence. Within the European Union, Germany plays a prominent role as an economic engine due to its central geographical location. Natco Germany has been part of the group since 2018, which is already present in Europe with its own companies in the UK, Switzerland, and Turkey, as well as additional branches in Africa, America, Asia, Australia, and the Middle East. “I look forward to working with Andreas Menzel and wish him much success in his significant role within the group,” says Roehl. “As Managing Director in Germany and through his support in global strategic key account management, Andreas is expected to further advance our group in integrating and expanding additional activities,” explains Roehl.Photo: © TGP
