Friedemann König becomes Corporate Spokesperson of Hermes Germany

(Hamburg) Effective April 1, Friedemann König (41) has taken over the management of the Corporate Communications Department at Hermes Germany GmbH. In this position, he is responsible for the internal and external corporate communications of the Hamburg-based trade and logistics service provider, as well as the Public Affairs sector. He succeeds Birte Ayhan-Lange, who moved to HanseMerkur Insurance Group in March 2021, where she is responsible for leading corporate communications.

Friedemann König has been working as Senior Manager Corporate Communications for Hermes since August 2019. Previously, he worked for 13 years on the agency side, where he planned and managed communication measures and campaigns for well-known companies from various industries, particularly in the automotive supplier industry and car trade, service sector, logistics, and transportation. At Hermes Germany, he will report to the Chief Executive Officer, Olaf Schabirosky.
