Mar 19, 2021 at 6:55 PMThe Munich-based EUROEXPO Messe- und Kongress-GmbH, organizer of LogiMAT, the international trade fair for intralogistics solutions and process management, brings exhibitors and trade visitors together online on its new digital matchmaking platform. LogiMAT.digital bridges the gap until the next in-person event of LogiMAT from March 8-10, 2022, in Stuttgart.
(Munich) The organizer of the LogiMAT trade fair, EUROEXPO Messe- und Kongress-GmbH, provides a professional information and communication platform for its exhibitors and visitors. Instead of a virtual trade fair, EUROEXPO has opted for a year-round interactive solution. “Our exhibitors have clearly indicated that they want to use digital solutions in today’s world – but they have also made it clear that they reject a virtual trade fair,” explains Michael Ruchty, trade fair director of LogiMAT in Stuttgart. “Therefore, we wanted to create a comprehensive solution and developed a year-round LogiMAT platform for business initiation and knowledge exchange, featuring interactive
formats on exciting core topics of intralogistics
The LogiMAT.digital platform will be available to participants from April 2021 to March 2022 and will be regularly filled with expert talks, workshops, specialist presentations, lecture series, and presentations during this time. “Supported by industry experts, we offer the ‘digital LogiMAT community’ a series of exciting content every month,” explains Peter Kazander, managing director of EUROEXPO.
For the physical LogiMAT trade fair in March, more than 1,200 international exhibitors have already registered. They can use the LogiMAT.digital platform for their company and networking profiles, presentations, roundtables, workshops, lectures, information, and press conferences. The centerpiece of the platform, according to Kazander, is an AI-supported, interactive matchmaking feature with integrated chat function and live streaming, allowing exhibitors to connect directly and in real-time with suitable business partners for lead generation.
Opening Virtual Gates for Trade Visitors
“Media and long-term partners from business and science can also showcase their own content,” says Ruchty. This allows them to reach LogiMAT visitors and interested parties from previous events over a period of up to twelve months.
All functions implemented for live streaming and matchmaking on the LogiMAT.digital platform will be activated by April 2021. The launch is scheduled for April 22. “On that day, the virtual gates will open for trade visitors from around the world, and the first sessions are planned for May 3 and 4,” says Kazander.
