The “CarLo Truck” by Soloplan Attracts Attention in South Africa

The software manufacturer Soloplan installed its transport software ‘CarLo’ last year at the South African logistics company Kenbert Warehousing & Transport. For advertising purposes, a model truck was created, which now draws attention as a real vehicle on the streets of South Africa.

(Kempten/Johannesburg) In early 2020, the transport software CarLo was introduced at the South African logistics company KENBERT WAREHOUSING & TRANSPORT. Since then, around 50 of their own trucks equipped with the logistics software from Soloplan have been on the road – including a very special model. The ‘CarLo Truck’ has recently hit the South African roads and definitely attracts all eyes.

Originally Designed as a Model Truck

Originally planned as a model for miniature trucks, it quickly became clear that the design of this truck should actually be realized. In cooperation with KENBERT TRANSPORT, the project has now been implemented, and the miniature truck has since become a real eye-catcher on South Africa’s roads.

Since its founding in the 1980s, KENBERT TRANSPORT has developed into one of the big players in South Africa. With over 120 employees and more than 50 vehicles, KENBERT has established itself in the African market and is on an expansion course, partly due to the switch to CarLo a year ago. The use of state-of-the-art logistics software and the resulting time and cost savings ensure a continuous strengthening of the company’s market position. Through the transport management system CarLo, numerous processes have been digitized, workflows have been accelerated, and a more efficient workflow has been created, resulting in the presentation of this special ‘CarLo Truck’ after just one year of cooperation.
