trans-o-flex launches the service tof.cover. This means that no own packaging is necessary anymore and a 12 o’clock delivery including a climate-neutral shipping bag is guaranteed. It is a new combined offer for shipments up to five kilos.

(Weinheim) At the beginning of the year, trans-o-flex Express launched the new service tof.cover. This is an express shipping service for documents and small items. trans-o-flex provides its customers with its own shipping bags for this purpose. “The goal is to make express shipping even easier,” says Wolfgang P. Albeck. “Customers no longer need to purchase or stock their own packaging for tof.cover.” According to the CEO of trans-o-flex, the new express service can be completed in four steps. “First, enter shipment data, second, stick the address label on the shipping bag, third, pack the folders, documents, products, or samples to be shipped, and finally, fourth, hand the shipment to the trans-o-flex driver.”

Drivers take shipping bags with standard pickups

The drivers either take the tof.cover shipping bags during the standard pickup along with other shipments or the pickup can be booked via trans-o-flex.now. By default, the tof.cover shipping bags are delivered the next working day before 12 o’clock. “If desired, tof.cover can also be used to book any other express service – from delivery before 8 o’clock to evening service.” Furthermore, for all tof.cover shipments: Delivery is only made against signature. “Even if a drop in the mailbox would be feasible due to the size of the shipment, we consciously do not do that. Simple express shipping for customers means at trans-o-flex no compromises on transparency and security!”

Shipping bags 100 percent recyclable

trans-o-flex consciously opts for plastic bags instead of cardboard packaging for the shipping bags. “The shipping bags are produced in a climate-neutral manner, are 100 percent recyclable, and much more practical in storage and handling,” explains Albeck. “On the one hand, they are so flexible that small items of various shapes can be shipped with them. On the other hand, they can be folded together and stored almost anywhere.” trans-o-flex has the shipping bags produced in two sizes. The smaller variant S (Small = 35 x 26 cm) can also accommodate A4-sized documents or catalogs. The larger variant L (Large = 44 x 36 cm) can even fit a whole A4 folder. Both variants weigh only a few grams and can weigh up to five kilos for shipping. For customers with particularly high security needs, trans-o-flex provides additional security labels at cost price. They look like small band-aids, can be easily stuck over the edges, and leave clear traces in case of tampering. “With tof.cover, we offer our customers a complete service that allows them to save on purchasing and stocking packaging materials and is designed to be as simple as possible,” says Albeck.
