With this offering, Ruuf targets the delivery, maintenance, and promologistics sectors. The range of light cargo vehicles includes cargo trailers for bicycles, e-cargo bikes, cargo scooters, and light electric vehicles up to 600kg total weight.
(Zurich) A lot is changing in urban centers. The desire for online shopping is increasing among the population. Space in cities is limited, and the need for high quality of life regarding air cleanliness and low noise pollution is significant. The demand for environmentally friendly, flexible transport solutions is rising. “Finally,” says founder Christian Rudin, “with cargomobil.ch we help solve problems.”
Application areas for various industries
The vehicle offering is aimed at both logistics service providers and smaller and larger producers with delivery services. In addition to the important delivery sector, the maintenance area with commercial, industrial, or municipal applications is an exciting field. Ruuf AG Cargomobil.ch offers vehicles for cleaning and maintenance work and for in-house use, for example, for spare parts supply on company premises and logistics centers. Through collaboration with various suppliers, special customer requests can also be implemented.
Strong suppliers at the business launch
“We are already looking forward to working with strong suppliers and partners at the start,” says Christian Rudin. Cargomobil.ch will present the cargo scooters of the brands Askoll and Vmoto, the Spanish bicycle brand BKL, the eCARgo Tripl, the bicycle trailers from Hinterher, and as the first partner for Switzerland, the cargo bike from the Austrian startup Gleam Bike starting mid-November 2020.
For the launch of Cargomobil.ch, the vehicles were equipped with stackable containers from the Oeco-Line by Georg Utz AG. The stackable containers are ideal load carriers for these vehicles.
Cargomobil.ch offers services from A to Z
The vehicles can be viewed and test-driven by appointment in Zurich. For service and maintenance services, individual pick-up and delivery services or maintenance subscriptions can be utilized. Cargomobil.ch also offers financing and insurance solutions as a full-service provider.
