Aug 25, 2020 at 8:01 AMOn January 1, 2020, the Martin Oelrich Group launched a new branch in Wiesbaden. The start has been successful, and despite the Corona pandemic, the goals have already been exceeded. The Wiesbaden branch focuses on partial and complete shipments.
(Ladbergen) Nearly ten months ago, the establishment of a new branch in Wiesbaden began. On January 1, 2020, the operational business started.
According to branch manager Sebastian Mehl, the opening of this branch is “an important step to create a continuous expansion of the existing network and to gradually develop it further.”
Focus on Partial and Complete Shipments
The focus will be on complete and partial shipments in both national and international charter business for various customer segments. This includes the logistical handling for customers from the fields of building materials, gardening, industry, trade goods, food, mechanical engineering, chemistry and pharmaceuticals, as well as action logistics and factory transports.
The storage capacity offered in the region encompasses up to 20,000 square meters of storage space and ranges from block storage to high-bay and open storage, as well as goods handling at various locations in Hesse, Rhineland-Palatinate, Saarland, and Baden-Württemberg.
In addition to the already mentioned industry segments and various storage options, value-added services and individual logistics & transport solutions can also be offered.
“Despite the Corona pandemic, the goals of the Wiesbaden branch have already been exceeded in the first months,” says Mehl. “We look positively into the future, not only regarding our location but also concerning the entire Martin Oelrich Group.”
