(Press Release/Würzburg) SALT Solutions AG enters into a strategic partnership with Transporeon. The two companies announced today that they will jointly offer their expertise in logistics and transport processes to respond more effectively to customer challenges.
As an expert in supply chain digitization, SALT Solutions has years of experience in implementing and developing SAP solutions. To provide its customers with transparency, flexibility, and efficiency across all processes along the supply chain, the IT specialist focuses on end-to-end processes. As part of the partnership, this offering will be expanded with an important component.
Transporeon is a provider of a cloud-based platform that connects shippers and transport service providers. With a global network of shippers, suppliers, leading retail companies, goods recipients, and freight forwarders, Transporeon enables its customers to reduce empty runs, improve transparency over transport processes, and shorten waiting times by automating the selection and commissioning of transports.
Automate Planning, Commissioning, and Managing Transports
With the partnership, SALT Solutions aims to extend the digital coverage of its customers’ logistics processes into transport. Users of SAP Transport Management will also benefit from the straightforward platform, which can be seamlessly integrated via interfaces. Additionally, SALT Solutions ensures that Transporeon customers can easily transform their SAP landscape into the SAP S/4HANA world.
