(Dubai) Between April and June 2020, Emirates SkyCargo, the cargo division of Emirates, enabled the transport of essential goods and other items for private and business customers worldwide with more than 10,000 scheduled, ad-hoc, and charter flights to destinations on all continents.
Adjusted Cargo Operations

In line with our self-understanding as a global facilitator of trade and economy, we have expanded our network to over 100 destinations with flight frequencies to key production and consumer markets. We continue to provide our customers with unparalleled reach and connectivity for their valuable cargo. Our growing network is proof of our customers’ trust in our service.”In May and June, Emirates SkyCargo operated an average of more than 3,800 flights per month, serving over 100 destinations and covering approximately 37 million kilometers, equivalent to about 50 trips to the moon and back. Between Germany and Dubai alone, the airline offers cargo capacities 18 times a week: From Frankfurt, there are twelve flights per week with Boeing 777-300ER passenger jets and two weekly full freighter flights with a Boeing 777F, while from Munich, important goods are transported on Boeing 777-300ER passenger flights four times a week. Additionally, there is a weekly full freighter connection from Frankfurt to Mexico City.
One Hundred Cargo Destinations Worldwide
Starting from just over 35 destinations at the end of March 2020, Emirates SkyCargo expanded its network to over 100 cargo destinations worldwide by July 2020. From transporting urgently needed medical supplies and food to materials required for other industries: Emirates SkyCargo is helping to reconnect cities to international trade routes now that production and other economic activities are resuming globally.
