KTV Logistics Company Celebrates 30 Years of Existence

KTV Logistics Company is celebrating its thirtieth anniversary this year. Initially, food transport was the focus, but the range of services has since been significantly expanded. In the anniversary year, KTV employs 130 staff members.

(Barby) Founded on September 24, 1990, in Krefeld, KTV Logistics Company mbH is celebrating its 30th anniversary this year. In its early years, the company primarily transported food. Over time, however, the logistics specialist has significantly expanded its service portfolio. The focus of the product range is now on customized concepts in building materials logistics. KTV currently employs 170 staff members and operates a fleet of around 140 vehicles. The company is now based in Barby near Magdeburg, strategically located near the A14 and A2 motorways.

Individual Concepts as the Foundation of Success

“The demands of our customers are very individual. Responding to this with tailored solutions is our business principle and the foundation of our success,” says Michael Falcke, Managing Director of KTV Logistics Company mbH. To implement such concepts without long lead times, the company maintains a state-of-the-art fleet consisting of 60 truck-mounted forklifts, 35 tarpaulin vehicles, 33 crane trucks, 8 box trucks, 7 tank trucks, and extensive specialized equipment. KTV also fulfills the complex logistical orders of its customers through seven modern halls, strategically located near the A14 motorway, offering more than 10,000 square meters of space to handle even more complex value-added services (VAS). Since summer 2017, the orders have been planned, organized, managed, and dispatched by KTV specialists in a state-of-the-art office building. “We have invested significantly in recent years and will continue this strategy for the foreseeable future. The foundation for the next 30 years is thus laid,” says Falcke.
