(Amsterdam/Neuenstein) Martin Seidenberg has been appointed CEO of the GLS Group effective immediately. The native of the Rhineland has more than 20 years of experience in logistics.
Martin Seidenberg joined the management of GLS Germany GmbH & Co. OHG at the beginning of 2015 and took over its chairmanship. Under his leadership, the largest national subsidiary of the GLS Group was able to further establish itself sustainably in the German parcel market and grow continuously. Before joining GLS, Martin Seidenberg worked for many years at Deutsche Post DHL. In addition to positions in Europe and Asia-Pacific, he was most recently the CEO of the DACH region at DHL Supply Chain.
Dr. Karl Pfaff has taken over as Chairman of the Management Board of GLS Germany effective immediately. Karl Pfaff began his career at GLS in 2014 as Head of Strategy. He later took on responsibility for central sales development, and since 2018 has led the Northern region. Before his time at GLS, Karl Pfaff worked for several years at the consulting firm Bain & Company as well as at the Lufthansa Group.
