(Zurich) On September 1, 2020, Henning Dieter will assume his role as Head of Swissport Cargo Services Germany & Austria. He succeeds Dirk Schmitt, who left the company in December 2019 after leading the Swissport Cargo division in Germany and Austria since February 2015. Initially, his focus will be on steering the company towards business recovery following the coronavirus crisis. The completion of the new Swissport warehouse at Frankfurt Airport, which is set to become operational in November 2020, will be another significant milestone. Henning Dieter will report to Willy Ruf, Senior Vice President Central and Eastern Europe.

Henning Dieter is an experienced senior manager in the logistics and aviation industry. He has successfully worked in several geographical markets, including Germany, Thailand, and the USA. In his last position as General Manager Airfreight Germany at Yusen Logistics, a leading provider of contract logistics and international freight forwarding, he was responsible for the financial and operational management of his business unit.
