Jun 8, 2020 at 6:59 AMThe logistics software developer Coglas GmbH supported the freight forwarder Haaf in implementing the SAP interfaces of a customer. The transaction was completed within four weeks through online remote sessions, thus avoiding distance issues due to Corona.
(PressBox, Wunstorf) The freight and logistics company HAAF took over the finished goods warehouse of a renowned German manufacturer in December 2019. Immediately after signing the contract, the move began within four weeks. Haaf was supported by Coglas GmbH in the implementation of the SAP interfaces.
Before the current Corona crisis, this project was successfully implemented – without on-site appointments. Christoph Stoll, Managing Director of Haaf Freight and Logistics, explains: “It was impressive how Coglas planned and executed the entire project with photos, documents, and online remote sessions. The remote collaboration of the three teams worked excellently, ensuring that all deadlines were met and the performance contents could be implemented. This was a completely new experience for us, which is forward-looking. Especially considering the current Corona situation, we are glad to have completed these processes beforehand – without knowing what the future would hold back then.”The procurement of the new warehouse technology, including installation, was completed on schedule. At the same time, the Coglas Cloud Web WMS was installed, the SAP connections to the customer were implemented, and the warehouse team was equipped with standard hardware, such as tablets and Bluetooth barcode handheld scanners. After brief online training sessions with Coglas, operations could then begin. “The team at COGLAS is always available to us with online support and process consulting,” emphasizes Stoll.All processes are mapped from the notification of goods with KLT and mixed pallets, to storage, picking, packing, and shipping.
