(Neuenstein) GLS Germany launched the sixth Day of the Package on May 29. This year’s action day was themed ‘Our Package for Your Favorite Club’ and will take place exclusively online.
“We want to set a sign for togetherness even in this difficult year, so we are celebrating the Day of the Package online for an extended period,” said Anne Putz, Head of Communication & Marketing at GLS. “This year, we decided to financially support registered clubs through a competition.”

Through a video competition on their website, GLS Germany is looking for the three most beautiful heart projects in Germany. Participants can upload a short video about their favorite club and explain why they wish for support for this club. Any registered club can be nominated, from environmental clubs to animal protection organizations.
The action period runs from May 29, 2020, to June 12, 2020. The three winning clubs will be selected through a public voting process and will subsequently be awarded cash prizes (1st place €2,500, 2nd place €1,250, and 3rd place €500).
The Day of the Package was established six years ago to bring people closer to parcel services. Meanwhile, the Day of the Package has developed into an international day that focuses on social engagement.
