W&O, a provider of maritime valves, has secured a three-year supply agreement with the Vard Group, a Norwegian shipbuilder, to support its shipyards in Norway, Romania, and Vietnam. Under the partnership, W&O will offer valves, actuation, and instrumentation, along with technical support for newly built vessels.
The collaboration includes the utilisation of W&O's advanced data management and RFID tagging systems to maintain a detailed history of each critical valve, enhancing the supply chain's efficiency and effectiveness.
Vidar Hoel of W&O, who has over 20 years of experience in the field, will lead a team from the Netherlands, Romania, and Singapore to facilitate this comprehensive support. (pb)
