Swissport adds forwarder handling in Germany
Following the expansion of its partnership with JAS Worldwide at Frankfurt Airport, Swissport now also provides forwarder handling in Germany. The new service complements Swissport’s existing portfolio of air cargo services for airlines and will now be rolled out globally in the company’s network.
With this new product, Swissport is expanding its service offering in the German cargo market. Swissport became JAS's sole cargo handling agent for Frankfurt Airport (FRA) on 15 January 2024.
Swissport first expanded into forwarder handling in Austria, where it has been providing the service in Vienna and Graz since 2010 and 2016, respectively. With a consistently strong demand and a positive market response, Swissport now plans to integrate the new offering into its standard service portfolio worldwide. (cj)
